Lynda earned a Master’s Degree from Northridge University and has over 30 years of experience in Communication Disorders. Her goal in life is to change lives for the better on a daily basis and to date has thousands of success stories to tell. She has treated patients in many settings including schools, acute rehab hospitals, convalescent hospitals, supervised Home Health Therapists for Scripps Home Care, and coming up on two decades of private practice by establishing The Encinitas Learning Center in 1997.
Sarah Turitto, SPED teacher
Ms. T. holds a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential in the State of California with CLAD and BCLAD certification. With more than two decades of teaching experience, she has taught both Special and Mainstream Education in public and private schools. Her areas of expertise include Middle School Mathematics, Science & Language Arts.
Taylor Camisa, Clinical Trainer
B.S. Psychology – Rhode Island College
Taylor was raised in Newport, R.I. and received her psychology degree from Rhode Island College. Taylor decided to move out west to escape the harsh east coast winters.
Taylor has a passion for working with struggling students and assists in helping them reach their highest potential. Taylor found her ideal position at Encinitas Learning Center.
Taylor serves as a Brain Training Coach working one-on-one with students with learning disabilities, slow processing speed, poor working memory, attention, reading and other cognitive skills that need improvement to help her students learn, memorize and comprehend much more efficiently. Utilizing scientific based programs at ELC such as, Fast Forward, Pace, Learning RX, Lindamood Bell and Interactive Metronome.
After an initial screening assessment is administered, Taylor assists the student and proceeds with an individualized academic plan to strengthen their cognitive skills.
In her free time, Taylor enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, yoga, hiking, reading and repurposing antique furniture.
Rene Noga, Teacher
René Noga is a dedicated and caring education professional committed to using the most
effective research-based learning methodologies. She is patient, upbeat, and creative in
tailoring instruction to meet individual student needs and learning styles.
An alumna of San Diego State University, she holds current California Teaching Credentials in Biological Sciences, Health Science, and Physical Education, with emphasis’ in Cross-cultural Learning and Academic Development. Outside of being a teacher and tutor, she has also worked as a standardized test administrator, freelance writer, and international flight attendant.
